On June 30, Forbidden Doors will be adding two new matches.
Bryan Danielson will face Shingo Takagi in a quarterfinal of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Danielson was commentating on Wednesday’s Dynamite event when the match was announced. He said that he was looking forward to Dragon vs. Dragon, and he loved the idea of taking on Takagi in the opening round.
This will be the first time they have met in a match. The two met at a Dragon Gate USA tournament in 2010, where Danielson won.
The Cage of Agony appeared after MJF defeated Rush on Dynamite on Wednesday. Brian Cage informed MJF that Nicholas Jackson and Matthew Jackson made a match between MJF and Hechicero in Forbidden Door. Tony Schiavone, however, said that only Tony Khan or Christopher Daniels were able to make the match. By the end of the episode, it was still not confirmed.
Tony Khan made the match official after Dynamite ended.
