AEW wrestlers can now check out the latest injury updates.
Mark Davis, Aussie Open’s star wrestler, has been out since he broke his wrist at AEW WrestleDream in October last year. Kyle Fletcher told WGN Radio recently that there is no timetable set for his tag-team partner’s return.
“I cannot speak to what is happening with him right now. I don’t think I want to be the person who tells that story, but he is doing well. He will be back at some point, we don’t know the exact date but I am excited to fight him again,” Fletcher said.
The Blade and The Bunny also updated fans on their current status during a recent virtual signing with K&S Wrestlefest. The Blade has not been in action since February due to a back injury, but he says he hopes he will be back by AEW All In.
Blade replied, “I’m still in the company but I’m just on the injured reserve at the moment.”
Later, during the signing session, he asked if he would be back for AEW All In.
Blade replied, “I hope so.” “My back is bad, but it’s slowly and surely getting better. I hope to be back within a few months.”
Blade said he will also be at AEW’s show in Buffalo, his hometown, next week.
Blade posted on Instagram in April that he was currently off the road due to a lower-back injury. 2 bulging disks, L2L3 and L4L5. Plus two ruptured disks, L3 S1 and L4 L5. “I’d like to thank both @aew_ and @tonyrkhan. for giving me time to heal.”
The Bunny is not wrestling since September. She was removed from AEW’s roster page in November, and has stated that she is currently taking a break from wrestling.
“I’m enjoying figure skating at the moment. Bunny said, “I’m acting right now and I’m taking some time off from breaking my body every week.” “I think I deserve a break after 19 years. Never say never, but right now I’m really enjoying both my figure skating and my acting. It’s a lot of fun.”
“I’m working on a very exciting project, but I can’t tell you about it just yet. It’s horror related,” she added.
