The NWA TV Champion was cast in a horror movie.
Variety reports that “Dolly”, starring Max the Impaler, has just finished filming in Chattanooga Tennessee. Max plays Dolly, a character described as a “monstrous figure” in the film.
The film’s description reads: “Macy, an innocent young woman, is kidnapped by a monstrous character who wants to raise her as their child.”
The filmmakers describe the film as a “blend of New French Extremity with 1970s American Horror.” It also stars Sean William Scott, Ethan Suplee, Russ Tiller and Michalina Scorzelli. Rod Blackhurst, director of Blood for Dust, directed the film.
Naman Ramachandran, Variety’s Naman, wrote: “The film also features current NWA TV champion Max the Impaler aka The NonBinary Nightmare in the title role of Dolly.”
Max wrestled last at the NWA Crockett Cup tapes at The OC Theatre, Forney, Texas in last month. In a match with Mims earlier this year, the NWA TV Championship as well as NWA Women’s TV Championship were unified.
