The Clash at Castle card opened with the “I Quit!” match between Styles and Rhodes. Styles was slapped by Michelle Rubio, Rhodes’ mother after he taunted Michelle. Styles had threatened to hit her but didn’t.
Styles quit as Rhodes was about hit him with the steel step. Rhodes still hit Styles with the steel steps after the match. Commentators said Rhodes was trying to send a message to other players in the locker room that he could get dirty when needed.
