AJ Styles is open to competing for his old company in another match.
Styles spoke to Cultaholic during press interviews ahead of WWE Clash at The Castle. Styles expressed his hope that we will see him in a TNA match again, possibly against TNA’s Leon Slater. Slater said that Styles would be his dream opponent in a WWE/TNA crossover match.
Styles told Cultaholic, “I hope something like that happens.” “It is good for both talent in WWE and TNA to go to TNA. It’s also better for younger talent to get in the ring with people who have a different style. It’s important to be well-rounded. You can’t do all of that in NXT. It’s great that we can do this elsewhere.
“And for Leon, hey, dude, I really hope it happens. It’ll be a blast no matter what. If not, keep tearing down the house.”
Jordynne Grace, the TNA Knockouts champion, has been the focus of recent collaborations between WWE and TNA. She appeared in the women’s Royal Rumble in January and then had two matches for NXT. Grace will challenge for her Knockouts championship at TNA Against All Odds on Friday, June 14. We’ll find out if she faces a WWE/NXT wrestler.

Styles will challenge Cody Rhodes to the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Clash at the Castle on Saturday in an “I Quit!” match. Michael Cole asked Styles at a fan event held in Glasgow about the “growing partnership” between WWE & TNA. Styles said that it’s an exciting time to be a wrestler fan.
