Former TNA creative member RD Evans now works for AEW in todays Wrestling news
RD Evans found a new job quickly.
Evans resigned his position with TNA Wrestling in the last month, around the time the company laid off its Creative Director David Sahadi as well as Vice President of Marketing Lou D’Angeli. According to a PWInsider report, Evans worked backstage for AEW on Saturday at Collision and is expected to be back at AEW Dynamite later tonight. He also worked on backstage segments over the weekend.
Evans has been a member of the TNA Creative Team since October 2019. Evans was a member of the WWE creative team from 2016 until a notorious backstage incident during the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. Vince McMahon allegedly yelled at Evans when Bret Hart named McMahon during his speech. Inductees have been warned not to do this. Evans quit immediately. He would later issue a formal statement in relation to the incident on a note tab where he keeps his shopping list.
Evans also played the characters Archibald Peck, Mixed Martial Archie, and others in ROH, Chikara and other promotions throughout his in-ring tenure.
