Mike Santana vs. Bloodsport XI: Homicide announced for Josh Barnett in todays Wrestling news
TNA’s Mike Santana, who will be taking on Homicide in the 11th edition to the unique series, will be the first person to step into the ring of Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport.
The first match announced for the show is Sunday, July 28, in Brooklyn, New York.
Homicide, who lost out to Tom Lawlor in the third Bloodsport show in 2020, will have a second chance at the show.
Santana, along with TNA has been plying their trade in various independents as of late. This includes a heavyweight championship run in House of Glory, and appearances in PROGRESS and Wrestling Open, among others.
Both men were partners in LAX in TNA years ago and have been opponents since 2015. The two men reconnected in March, which was their first time ringside in five years.
Barnett is preparing to face Jon Moxley in the Bloodsport Bushido event, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan this month.
