Drew McIntyre is’very, proud’ of TNA’s Joe Hendry in todays Wrestling news
Drew McIntyre was proud of his fellow countryman Joe Hendry’s success in TNA Wrestling.
McIntyre was an opponent of Hendry in WhatCulture Pro Wrestling, and ICW when McIntyre was on the independent circuit after being released from WWE in 2014. McIntyre has become a WWE superstar, and Hendry’s work in TNA is being praised. Hendry’s attempt to get his “I Believe in Joe Hendry theme music” on the UK music charts has created some buzz. He is also a former Digital Media Champion with TNA.
McIntyre confirmed in an interview with Cultaholic that he believes in Hendry. McIntyre stated that Hendry deserved a great opportunity for a very long time.
“I do not doubt Joe Hendry. He’s doing great. I’m so proud of him. Especially, you know, for getting the song to the top of the charts and creating as much buzz as he has. He’s deserved this big opportunity for quite some time. Thankfully, he was able to showcase his talent on Impact. I’m certain that it will continue to rise. The sky is the limit. McIntyre said, “He can do it all.”

Hendry had a contract with ROH back when Sinclair Broadcast Group owned the promotion. Hendry only had one match with ROH after the promotion was sold to Tony Khan.
McIntyre will headline WWE Clash at the Castle, a show in Scotland, in just over a weeks time. He will be battling Damian Priest at the June 15 event for the World Heavyweight Championship. The show will be broadcast from the OVO Hydro, Glasgow.
