Vince McMahon banned from WWE headquarters and gym he designed in todays Wrestling news
According to a former WWE employee who has worked there for many years, Vince McMahon cannot be at the WWE headquarters.
Tom Carlucci joined WWE in January 1988. He worked in different roles for the company over the next 30 years. When he was hired in 1988, there were only 10 employees on the WWE production team. Carlucci, a recent guest on The Insiders Podcast, told Conrad Thompson that McMahon was not allowed to enter WWE’s new HQ.
Carlucci said, “He can’t walk in the building.” Conrad, it’s crazy you drove by that building. You got the big championship buckle, he wanted those from day 1. We were in two buildings. You had the corporate offices off exit nine and then we were right down the road from the corporate offices, our big studio. He always wanted us to be under one roof. It was his dream that we all live under one roof. The dream came true and he is not even a member of it anymore.”
Carlucci said that McMahon was not allowed to enter the WWE headquarters gym which McMahon and his trainer Michael A. Monteforte designed together.
“The gym was designed for Vince. He designed the gym together with his trainer Mike who I know very well. He can’t go into that gym anymore. He can’t go anywhere. “Every meeting that takes place over there, everyone asks ‘Is Vince going?’ You’ll never see Vince again,’ say the TKO people.”
Carlucci expressed his frustration at Paul Heyman burying McMahon in his Hall of Fame address the Friday before WrestleMania.
“He’s the Legacy and that’s what made me sick about WrestleMania, was that everyone just buried Vince,” Carlucci said. “Heyman buried Vince. ‘I’m now with Triple H and…’ Like, does Paul recall who bailed Heyman back in the day?” Vince. Who made Triple H Triple H? I don’t mean to be negative about Triple H, but without Vince, half of the guys would not even be making the money that they do. You’re going boot him? Making him guilty even before the trial begins and calling you a Paul Levesque? Vince would not have been a part of WrestleMania so it’s crazy to talk about his legacy. Now he is alone.
Carlucci, Thompson and others also discussed “rumors and innuendos” that there was some estrangement among the McMahons due to the allegations against Vince.
“I think that there is a lot strain on the family right now with Vince, his children, Shane…I don’t know for sure but I think this is definitely happening. I think that he’s alone. It’s hard to imagine but I do, I believe he is. I don’t believe Vince had many fans around him.”
