Mina Shirakawa vs. Serena Deeb for AEW RAMpage announced in todays Wrestling news
On the episode of AEW Rampage on Friday, June 7, Mina Shirakawa and Serena Deeb will face off.
AEW announced Friday’s match during Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. Shirakawa will face Toni Storm in the Women’s World Championship match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, on Sunday 30th June. Deeb fought Storm for the title last month at Double or Nothing.
Shirakawa appeared in an angle of Wednesday’s Dynamite, where she saved Storm from an attack by Harley Cameron and Saraya after Saraya had defeated Mariah May in the singles competition.
In a slow-burn storyline on AEW, Storm and Shirakawa seem to be competing for May’s affection and attention.
The Friday Rampage will be taped in Loveland on June 5, 2013. This week, the show will return to its regular Friday 10 p.m. Eastern slot on TNT.
