Jon Moxley reveals his allies in the IWGP World title lumberjack fight in todays Wrestling news
Third generation NJPW has proven to be a strong ally for Jon Moxley.
Moxley will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at NJPW Dominion against EVIL in a lumberjack-style deathmatch. He appeared via video today at the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors semi-finals show at Korakuen Hall to reveal Yuji Nagata will be lumberjacks at Osaka Jo Hall this Sunday.
Moxley said on the video:
“EVIL wants a lumberjack fight on June 9th at Osaka Jo Hall. He wants his cronies from the House of Torture to surround the ring. How is this different from any other night you have with your friends? This is going be very different.
Moxley continued:
“I will have my own enforcers who will keep law and order.” There will be a requirement for law and order, because this is not going to be just any lumberjack match. This is going to a Jon Moxley Lumberjack match with no limits. There are no limitations to how out-of-control it can become. I look to the third-generation of NJPW, to lay down the laws, to beat some sense into the House of Torture. “And at the end of that night, on June 9, at Osaka Jo Hall – respect or no respect – I will still remain the NJPW World Champion, IWGP World King.”
Nagata Tenzan Makabe Tiger Mask then joined Shota umino for a tag-team match, defeating House of Torture Dick Togo, Ren Narita SHO, Yoshinobu kanemaru & Yujiro Takahashi.
