Dana White: ‘I’ve never worked with them’ in todays Wrestling news
Dana White claims that WWE and UFC remain “very different” despite being both under the TKO Group Holdings umbrella.
White was asked at the UFC 302 Press Conference on Saturday if he had learned anything since working with WWE. The UFC president replied that he had never worked with WWE.
White replied, “It is very separate. I haven’t even worked with them.” “I do what i do and they do whay they do,” White replied. They’re using people from my team in different business areas, but as far putting on live shows, WWE is very skilled at what they do. And we’re also very skilled at what we do. That’s all I can say.
WWE laid off more employees last week in connection with the merger of UFC. After nearly 20 years at the company, Kristin Prouty, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Relations was let go. Beth Fisher, the head of corporate social responsibility, was also let go.
White was asked last month about UFC fighters crossing over to WWE, especially Derrick Lewis. White replied that he has no problem with his fighters crossing over to WWE.
White said, “Listen, I’m sure some of the fighters here have dreamed of doing a WWE or whatever match and I have no problem with that.” “I didn’t mind that when Vince used to f–k me without reason, and now that it’s not that way anymore, I would do it.”
