TNA Wrestling has made some changes to their creative and live event teams after the resignation of a person and the layoffs.

Robert “RD” Evans resigned from TNA this week. PWInsider reported that the relationship between TNA and the defacto creative head had “grown strained” in recent weeks, which left Evans frustrated.

PWInsider reported that Dave Sahadi was also laid off. Sahadi, who was the company’s director of broadcasts for 18 years and the creative director since 2019, worked for TNA prior to the current ownership. Sahadi has also worked as the creative director of WWE in the past.

As of now, it’s not known who will take over as creative director and how these positions will be filled.

The outlet reported that other layoffs were also made in the Live Events group as part of restructuring, but there was no mention of names or succession plans.

TNA is busy through the first weekend in August, with several TV tapings and their Against All Odds streaming event. They also have July’s Slammiversary Pay-Per-View. The next show will be in Chicago in two weeks.
