Bryan Danielson is eager to see the reactions of some of the Anarchy in The Arena competitors when they are put in situations that they have never been in before.

Danielson will wrestle in a third Anarchy in the Arena Match tonight at Double or Nothing. He will be teamed with FTR, Darby Allin, and The Young Bucks to face Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry. Danielson recently told Sports Illustrated that he is looking forward to seeing what Okada, and Perry, do in the match. He’s also a bit scared of what Allin could bring to the match.

“The anarchy and wildness of this match is really awesome,” said Danielson. “You could be fighting in the crowd alongside a professional wrestler of world-class, like Okada. We don’t really know how he fights, despite his greatness. I’m not sure what Jack Perry will bring to this match. I don’t know what Jack Perry will bring for the match. I’m actually a little afraid of what Darby will bring to the match. How about the flamethrower from Dynamite?”

Danielson and Blackpool Combat Club lost to the Jericho Appreciation society in Anarchy in The Arena at Double or Nothing in 2022. They also defeated The Elite in the event last year.

Danielson said, “I’m excited to see what Okada does in this situation. I get excited when I don’t know how someone else will react.”

“We are all in strange situations, some of which we have created and others that are not our fault,” he said. “It all depends on how you react. It turned out well for me when I was fired [by WWE, in 2010] for spitting on [John] Cena and choking Justin Roberts. Even in the moment when I lost a job that paid well, I knew I would be able to bounce back. I haven’t talked to Jack. Is he mad at it? The name ‘Scapegoat,’ implies that he is. I don’t yet know his mind-set.

Danielson just came off one of the most memorable matches in history, arguably against Will Ospreay, at AEW Dynasty. He told SI.com the crowd’s reaction that night “was a sensation across my entire body.” I don’t think I will wrestle in front of such a large crowd again.

Danielson took a Storm Driver at the end of the match from Ospreay. Ospreay later said he planned to retire the move. It was portrayed as if Danielson was seriously injured. Danielson said that he had done all the risky moves safely, but he did hurt his neck when attempting a Frankensteiner.

Danielson said, “All the risky stuff was safe.” “One thing I didn’t worry about ended up hurting me the most. It was when I gave Will the Frankensteiner and he landed upright. I was lucky that no one noticed me, because Will’s feat was spectacular. I fell straight on my head.”
