Hiroshi Takahashi made a surprise guest appearance on Saturday’s Collision.
It was announced earlier in the day that Lance Archer, The Righteous, and Daniel Garcia would be facing Claudio Castagnoli and a mystery teammate. After it was teased they would fight in a 2 on 3 format, Tanahashi appeared as their surprise tag-team partner. Announcers pushed that the Forbidden Door opened early. Tanahashi won the match for his team by pinning Vincent using the High Fly Flow.
Tony Khan thanked Tanahashi on X for his appearance and posed in a picture with him. He said that Tanahashi gave him a Jushin Thunder Liger Jacket.

Tanahashi’s last match was at NJPW Resurgence, earlier this month. He lost to Zack Sabre Jr.
