WWE fires Head of Corporate Responsibility in todays Wrestling news
Another WWE executive has left the company.
Post Wrestling reported Saturday that Beth Fisher was fired in the last few days after working for WWE for 13 years. The TKO merger, which was finalized in the fall of last year, has led to many other employees losing their jobs.
Fisher describes her job on her LinkedIn profile.
As Director of Corporate Responsibility at WWE, i lead the company’s initiatives for social impact and engagement with the community, including managing strategic partnership, overseeing signature program, and executing international events. With more than 13 years in the sports and entertainment industries, I have developed skills in event planning, public relations and communications. I also have a passion to make a positive impact on the world. I am proud to support the mission of Make-A-Wish (r) Connecticut by being a member of the Emerging Leaders Council. I help the organization grant life-changing dreams to children with critical illnesses. I am also committed in fostering a culture that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion at WWE. I work with internal and external stakeholders, to advance the company’s values and goals.
Fisher began her career with WWE in August 2011 as Vince McMahon’s assistant. She later became a senior marketing manager in the Marketing and Communications Department. She was promoted to the most recent position in November 2019.
Fightful also reported this week that Kristen Prouty – Senior Vice President, Entertainment Relations, who has worked for the company since 2000 – was also cut.
