Steven Borden, Sting’s Son, is training to become a wrestler in todays Wrestling news
Steven Borden may be following in the footsteps of his father after all.
Darby Allin said in an interview to be released by Fightful that Sting’s child has been training with him to become a wrestler. He’s reportedly slept in a tent in Allin’s backyard and trained in a wrestling ring Allin owns.
Steven Borden, son of AEW Revolution’s founder, was “Wolfpac Sting”, during his father’s final match earlier this year.
In February, Allin said to Digital Spy that Sting had told him that his sons were not interested in wrestling training.
They’re not at all interested. I asked [Sting] if his sons had ever tried it. He said no, they weren’t interested.
They didn’t want to do it, but I was curious about their size. They should become a tag-team – that would cool.
Steven’s life changed after he performed at Revolution with his father and brother Garrett. In March, he told Comicbook.com that his wrestling future had become “murky.”
“I’ve always preferred to leave it up to my dad. I never had much of an interest in entering his world. I thought it was his thing. I would say that it’s still mostly the same, but maybe in the last 6 months to a Year, that answer has become a little murkier,” he said.
Borden was a tight end at the University of Kentucky during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He has been the general manger of SAGA Fitness, since July 2021. He regularly posts fitness tips on Instagram to his 12k followers.
