The former WWE and UFC champ made a surprise appearance in the ring on Friday.
Ronda Roussey, former WWE Raw & SmackDown Women’s Champions, made her surprise Ring of Honor Debut Friday in Los Angeles.
Rousey was the mysterious partner for Marina Shafir in a match against ROH Women’s Champion Athena and Billie Starkz, which is expected to air on ROH TV Thursday. She will be coming out as Joan Jett’s “Bad Reputation” as she did in WWE.
The match was played after the live AEW Collision & Rampage show at The Forum on Friday.
The two teams were unable to compete in Thursday’s Wrestling Revolver match. This was Rousey first match since her October indie bout against Brian Kendrick and Taya Valkyrie with Shafir.
Rousey ended her run with WWE in August’s SummerSlam, where she lost an MMA rules bout to Shayna Bassler.
Tony Khan, the AEW & ROH chief, tweeted about the match but did not mention that it was Rousey.
Rousey made her debut in the ring at WrestleMania 34 in 2018. She went on to win the Raw Women’s Title, SmackDown Women’s Title twice, and the WWE Women’s Tag Team title with Baszler.
