WWE wrestlers send Marigold flowers for her debut show in todays Wrestling news
Marigold held its first event at Korakuen Hall Monday.
Sareee & Bozilla defeated Giulia & Utami Hayashishita during the show’s main match. The match lasted just under 30 minutes. Saree pinned Giulia for the team win. Giulia took a moonsault before Saree pinned her with a suplex.
Giulia told Saree that it was up to them to bring the Joshi World into the future. Sareee accepted her challenge to a singles bout. During this post-show segment the vacant Marigold World title belts and National title belts also entered the ring. Hayashishita placed the red belt on her shoulder at one stage.
Marigold announced Summer Destiny would take place at the Ryogoku Kokugikan on July 13.
Marigold also shared photos of the flower arrangement that WWE’s IYO Sky and Akira Tozawa sent to Marigold for their debut concert.

Nanae Takahashi, 45, became the first woman to win a match in the promotion after she defeated Victoria Yuzuki (19) in the opening match with The Refrigerator bomb. The commentary team referred Takahashi to as the last remnants of All Japan Women’s Pro Wrestling, but Yuzuki was referred to as the future of Marigold. Takahashi extended her hand to Yuzuki following the match, but she slapped away.
The second match was a story about Ishikawa being one of seven founding members of Marigold and Aono being one of ActWres wrestlers that joined the first press conference. Ishikawa is angry that Aono was put on Marigold’s promotional materials and posters. Aono won the match, defeating her opponent using a Styles Clash.
The third match in the show pitted former Stardom wrestler MIRAI and former ActWres grappler CHIAKI. This match was billed as a battle between two wrestlers with a lot of power. MIRAI won with a big lariat. MIRAI received a giant bag full of caramel corn after the match. This is clearly a favorite snack.
The fourth match featured Nagisa & Myla grace against Zayda & Mai Sakurai. Grace is originally from Northern Island, and she previously wrestled for NXT UK. Steel wrestles for MLW, as part of WTF. The match ended in a 15-minute draw. After the bell, the two teams had a little shoving and hair pulling contest. The commentary team emphasized that there were still unfinished matters between the two teams. Sakurai made a promo following the match in which he criticized the fans for having their work week begin.
In the semi-main event, Chika Goto teamed up with Kouki Amarei to defeat Misa Matsui & Natsumi Showzuki. Amarei pinned Matsui using a splash on the top, and then cut a promotional video after the match. She said that both she and Goto will only get better, as the commentary team emphasized that the organization would crown Twinstar tag team champs at some point.
