The King & Queen of the Ring semi-finals are official for the next WWE SmackDown in todays Wrestling news
The semifinals of the SmackDown bracket will be held next week.
Randy Orton defeated Carmelo Hayes on Friday’s SmackDown, advancing to the semifinals of the King of the Ring next week. He will face Tama Tonga after Tonga defeated LA Knight in this week’s SmackDown show.
Bianca Belair defeated Tiffany Stratton in this week’s Queen of the Ring episode. She will now face Nia Jax, who defeated Jade Cargill’s tag team Jade Cargill on Friday by disqualification.
The King & Queen of the Ring PLE tournament finals will be held on Saturday, 25th May.
Raw’s representatives for the tournament finals are determined by the episode of Monday, May 20, where Gunther will face Jey Uso in the King of the Ring Tournament, and IYO SKY against Lyra Valkyria, in the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
This week’s SmackDown also teased two additional segments for the next Friday’s SmackDown.
AJ Styles has announced that he will meet with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis next week to discuss his future in the ring after losing the Undisputed WWE title to Cody Rhodes and then losing a King of the Ring Tournament bout to Orton.
In a segment that aired on Friday, the Women’s Champion Bayley challenged Chelsea Green to fight her next week.
