IWGP title elimination match added to AEW double or nothing in todays Wrestling news
The AEW Double or Nothing line-up has been expanded to include an IWGP World title elimination match.
Tony Khan, AEW’s Tony Khan, announced on Thursday via social media that IWGP World Heavyweight champion Jon Moxley would be fighting Konosuke Takeshita in a World title elimination bout at Double or Nothing. If Takeshita wins, he’ll receive a future IWGP World championship shot.
Moxley will defend his IWGP World title against EVIL at NJPW Dominion, on Sunday 9th June. Moxley, who won the title last month from Tetsuya Naito, has successfully defended it against Powerhouse Hobbs at Dynamite, Ren Narita in NJPW Wrestling Dontaku and Shota Umino in NJPW Resurgence.
