Billy Corgan claims NWA has signed a new TV deal in todays Wrestling news
The NWA has landed a new TV contract.
Billy Corgan told TV Insider he signed another contract recently, but it has not yet been officially announced.
“I haven’t yet announced that I signed another TV contract. Corgan said, “I saw someone in wrestling media laud the NWA’s successes. But I don’t think there are many independent companies that have three TV deals as an independently funded company.”
CW App currently broadcasts episodes of NWA Power. Today, a reality series focusing on Corgan’s management of the promotion called “Adventures in Carnyland”, which is a documentary about Corgan, premiered on the CW App.
“We’re fighting a lot here, not only to create wrestling products that fans will enjoy but also to change the world’s perception of what is possible. Corgan continued, “Unless you have a million dollars in your pocket, you can’t manifest sufficient energy.” “But what people do not understand is that I am one of the few people in the entire world who can take something literally from zero and take it multiple times to the top of a mountain. I know that it is possible with faith, hard work, and dedication. It will be fascinating to see what is going on behind the scenes, which is, by the way, not work but real and honest stuff. I insisted that the storylines be real and organic. It will be interesting if people see that as a sign of integrity or weakness from the company. I think it’s an advantage because we have nothing hidden.”
Corgan addressed the controversial “cocaine-spot” at NWA Samhain in October last year and The CW’s reaction to it during a separate Fightful interview. A report from Haus of Wrestling was released shortly after stating that CW officials were unhappy with what happened and it could negatively affect the NWA’s contract with the company.
“After the CW deal was lost by NWA, ..'” Corgan stated that this story had taken on a life of it’s own. “About four or five days after the event, CW contacted me. I won’t say who, but one of their top executives asked, What’s the deal?’ I replied, I don’t understand because no one in your world has contacted me.” He said, There’s no issue over here.'” We’re reading these articles and don’t know what the problem is.’ I said, “Okay, just to be clear, there’s nothing wrong with what we did?” They replied, “No, we find it funny.” So there was no issue. It was a completely made-up story, either by a troll or leaker within the company.
The NWA is preparing for the 2024 Crockett Cup, which will take place on May 18th at The O.C Theater located in Forney. The following teams have been announced: Knox and Murdoch, Blunt Force Trauma, The Immortals, The Southern 6, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Country Gentlemen, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, The Fixers, Tim Storm, Jax Dane and The Fixers, The Country Gentlemen, AJ and KC Cazan EC3 will also defend his NWA World Heavyweight Championship on the show against Sam Adonis.
