WWE Raw crowns the new World Tag Team number one contenders in todays Wrestling news
JD McDonagh and Finn Balor will be facing off in a title match.
Balor & McDonagh are now the number one contenders to win the World Tag Team Titles, after defeating Authors of Pain and The Creed Brothers. Carlito intervened in the match and gave Pete Dunne a backstabber, before throwing him in the ring. Balor then delivered the coup de grace to win.
Carlito, who was drafted to Raw in the past, has been trying to join The Judgment Day ever since. Damian Priest wants nothing to do him because of his interference in the Puerto Rican Street Fight at Backlash last year. Priest had earlier on Raw shunned Carlito, saying he didn’t want anything to do with him. He seemed to warm up to him once Balor & McDonagh were announced as the new number 1 contenders.
The Miz and R-Truth are the current World Tag Team Champions. They won the titles in the ladder match at WrestleMania forty.
