AEW Dynamite to host World Title Eliminator in todays Wrestling news
The next Dynamite will host an eliminator match for AEW’s World title.
Swerve Strickland and Brian Cage will meet in a singles bout following the events of Saturday’s Collision. Cage was attacked by the AEW World Champion as he explained why The Mogul Embassay had turned against Swerve. Cage was able to escape while Swerve took out Toa Liona, Kaun and both by himself.
Jon Moxley will team up with Bryan Danielson to take on NJPW’s Jeff Cobb and Kyle Fletcher. Tony Schiavone described the match as Don Callis seeking revenge after Moxley injured Powerhouse Hobbs and defeated him in their IWGP World Title match.
The Elite will also be on the field. Kazuchika will face Dax after FTR, Eddie Kingston and Danielson confronted The Elite in the Dynamite episode of Wednesday. Christopher Daniels confronted Matt Jackson after Okada had issued the challenge, walked away and left. The Young Bucks are now going to face Daniels and Matt Sydal on Dynamite in a tag-match.
Other segments include Willow Nightingale’s signing of a contract for Double or Nothing and Mercedes Mone, and Hook’s return after his FTW Championship defeat at Dynasty by Chris Jericho.
Toni Storm and Harley Cameron will be facing off during Rampage. Will Ospreay and Roderick Strong will face off in a face-to-face match, while Adam Copeland will confront Malakai Black following his challenge to a steel barbed cage match at Double or Nothing.
