TNT title match, Bryan Danielson to appear at AEW Collision in todays Wrestling news
Two matches are announced for AEW’s three-hour block of Saturday.
Saturday’s AEW collision episode will feature a TNT title defence, as well as Bryan Danielson’s debut match since Dynasty.
Adam Copeland will be defending the TNT Championship on Saturday, May 11, in the episode of Collision. The match was announced on Wednesday’s Dynamite during a backstage promotional segment with Copeland and O’Reilly.
Copeland defended the TNT title in Dynamite’s No DQ bout against Brody King, but King attacked Copeland following the match. O’Reilly saved the day, and then challenged Copeland to the title during the promo.
Bryan Danielson will also be appearing on Saturday’s Collision after making his return to Dynamite for the show’s closing segment.
Danielson was announced as the fourth team member of Team AEW in an Anarchy in the Arena Match at Double or Nothing, later this month. He will be teaming up with Eddie Kingston & FTR to face The Elite. Tony Schiavone announced during the brawl to close Dynamite that Danielson would return to the ring on Saturday for the first time since the Dynasty pay per view last month.
AEW will be on TBS for a three-hour block on Saturday, May 11, with a two hour Collision followed by a Rampage live.
