Jeff Cobb vs. Lance Archer TV Title Match added to NJPW Resurgence in todays Wrestling news
NJPW has posted a video in which Archer challenges Cobb later this month.
Lance Archer is aiming for the NJPW World Television title.
The company released a short video on Saturday, showing the AEW star challenging Jeff Cobb to their upcoming Resurgence event in Ontario, California on May 11. In the video Archer congratulated Cobb, but also took a jab at the United Empire by asking who was the leader. He said that he would go old school, and do American Psycho, to become the next television champion.
Cobb won the title by beating Zack Sabre Jr. at Wrestling Dontaku on May 3. Cobb challenged anyone who wanted to challenge him for his title after winning the title.
Below is the lineup for Saturday’s Resurgence show. The event will be aired as a pay per view on NJPW World, at 9:30 pm Eastern time.
