Rhodes said on the Cheap Heat podcast his long-term WWE goal is to be “the most lucrative talent” that the company has ever had. Rhodes stated that he wanted to give WWE all he had, after so much was given to him.
My long-term goal is to become the most lucrative talent WWE has ever had. I know who is in that group. You know your Hustle Loyalty Respect, your Austin 3:16s. I know what I’ve been doing. I know how long I will have to continue doing this to make this goal a reality.
It’s a bit of inside baseball and not very glamorous. Even today, I feel like I want to give WWE all I have. I’ll give it everything I have. I feel so blessed after WrestleMania. We earned it, yes. We earned it. I think I am the right person to do the job. When the time comes, I want to leave them in a better place than they were before.
