WWE NXT to host Women’s championship match next week in todays Wrestling news
Chelsea Green will face Roxanne Perez in the episode of May 7.
Next week, WWE NXT will feature a Women’s Championship match between Roxanne Perez and Chelsea Green.
Green, who was drafted by WWE to SmackDown in 2024 with her tag partner Piper Niven, returned to NXT TV unannounced on Tuesday’s episode. She will challenge Perez to the Women’s Title on the next week’s show.
Wes Lee will make his in-ring comeback on NXT TV next week, after returning from injury in this week’s episode. He will face Josh Briggs, in a singles competition.
Next week, the new NXT champion Trick Williams will also appear on Supernova Session With Meta-Four. This follows a cliffhanger that was left on this week’s show when Lash Legend had promised to rock Trick Williams’ world with a mystery envelope.
Next week’s show will also feature a combine to determine which 12 competitors are to participate in the qualifying matches leading up to the ladder match that will crown the inaugural NXT Women’s North American champion.
