The first champion of the season will be crowned on June 9 in a ladder match.
WWE NXT will crown its first ever Women’s North American Champion at Battleground, on June 9.
NXT GM Ava revealed during this week’s NXT that the inaugural Women’s North American Champion would be decided in a ladder-match at the Battleground PLE, which will take place on Sunday, 9th June at the UFC Apex Las Vegas.
The top 12 combine finishers will then face off in six singles qualifiers on future episodes of NXT TV.
The ladder match will determine the first Women’s North American champion.
WWE announced the introduction of a new North American title during Stand & Deliver, WrestleMania Weekend.
Michin, a main roster wrestler, was one of those competitors who declared for a combine during the NXT episode on Tuesday. Michin, Jaida Park, Sol Ruca and Arianna Grace were featured stars in the promotional segment. The segment eventually devolved to a brawl involving a large part of the NXT Women’s roster.
