Darby Allin continues to have bad luck.
Allin posted on Instagram that he was recovering after being hit in New York City by a bus while crossing the street. He was able to attend a Broadway show with Raymond Pettibon.
“That awkward moment you have when you’re crossing the street with a broken leg in New York and get hit by a car ……Least i can do is have a good night with @raymond_pettibon_, and catch a broadway play lol” he wrote.
Allin has not been in action since AEW Big Business, where he broke his foot after hitting a senton against White from the top of the rope to the ground. Allin continued to wrestle with the injury. The Gunns attacked Allin after the match, and Pillmanized his leg to write him off. He was planning to take time to climb Mt. Everest. Allin’s injury forced him to postpone his climb until next year.
Allin had previously taken part in Sting’s final match, at AEW Revolution. The duo defeated the Young Bucks and retained the AEW tag team titles, which had been vacated following the match.
