Nic Nemeth wins AAA Mega title at Triplemania XXXII in todays Wrestling news
Alberto El Patron lost his vacant title to Nemeth.
The new AAA Mega Heavyweight champion has been crowned.
Nic Nemeth won the title for the very first time by defeating Alberto El Patron. Nemeth threw water into Patron’s eyeballs from outside the ring, as Patron attempted a suicide jump. Patron, while trying to recover from the low blow, pushed the referee to the side. This allowed Nemeth the opportunity to hit the Danger Zone and win.
Marisela handed the title over to Nemeth after the match. She posed with the title in her hand.
In March, it was announced that El Hijo Del Vikingo had undergone surgery for a torn lateral meniscus. He was then unable to compete. He held the title for 833 day, having defeated Kenny Omega in December 2021.
Nemeth also defeated David Finlay in February to become the NJPW Global Champion.
Triplemania XXXII featured a trios match in which Vampiro (with Jeff Jarrett) and El Mesias defeated Dark Ozz and Dark Cuervo. Satnam Singh, QT Marshall, and Jeff Jarrett (AEW) were also on the show, and they teamed up with Sam Adonis, Parker Boudreaux, and Octagon Jr. to defeat Psycho Clown.
