The neck brace that Tony Khan, AEW’s head, wore during NFL Draft Weekend will be auctioned for charity.
Khan will auction the brace after Rich Eisen, NFL Network’s Rich Eisen, signs it on Saturday. Eisen’s Run Rich Run charity will donate the proceeds to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
According to Eisen’s account, Khan texted Eisen that he would accept his offer to sign the item and auction it off for his charity once he no longer had to wear it.
At this time, it’s not known if or when the auction will be conducted through AEW’s charitable foundation.
Khan was first seen wearing the brace on national television Thursday after taking a TK Driver/Meltzer Driver the night before from the Young Bucks at AEW Dynamite, selling the effects.
In the days that followed, Khan continued to wear his turban, even when he gave a media interview on Friday, which attracted attention because he compared WWE to the pro wrestler equivalent of Harvey Weinstein.
