The May 4 show will feature two championship matches and a Bloodline tag match.
The WWE Backlash line-up for Saturday, May 4, has been expanded to include two title matches and a Bloodline tag-team match.
As revealed in Friday’s SmackDown, the Women’s Tag-Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane will defend their titles against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at Backlash.
Belair was the top pick in the 2024 WWE Draft, and he remained on the SmackDown Brand.
Bayley, the new WWE Women’s champion, will defend her title in a triple threat match at Backlash against Tiffany Stratton & Naomi.
On Friday’s SmackDown match, Naomi and Stratton faced off in a one-on-one match as the number one contenders. However, the match ended with a DQ due to interference by Nia Jax. The Backlash bout became a three-way match as a result.
The Bloodline will be taking part in Backlash as a tag team.
The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, who have been targeting Kevin Owens for the past few weeks, will team up against Owens and Randy Orton in Backlash.
