Becky Lynch wins vacant Women’s World Title on WWE Raw in todays Wrestling news
On Monday’s Raw, Lynch won the battle royal to win the vacant title.
Becky Lynch has been crowned the new WWE Women’s World Champion.
Lynch won the Women’s World Title in a battle royal during Monday’s WWE Raw episode. Rhea Ripley had vacated it on last week’s show.
The battle royal was down to Lynch, Liv Morgan and Nia Jax. Lynch and Morgan teamed up to eliminate Jax. Jax had earlier thrown Lynch through the announcer table with a powerful bomb.
Morgan and Lynch were the final two competitors on the apron. Lynch avoided Morgan’s Oblivion and won the match after a Manhandle Slam knocked Morgan to the ground.
Lynch posted a comment on social media about her victory.
Lynch has now won seven World titles in WWE. She previously held the SmackDown Women’s and Raw Women’s titles on four occasions each. The Women’s World Title shares a lineage of the SmackDown championship, but was renamed to Women’s World in 2023.
Lynch has also held the NXT Women’s Championship, but WWE does not recognize these titles as World Championships.
