TNA injury update: Eric Young and Brian Myers are not medically cleared in todays Wrestling news
On Saturday’s pay per view, several wrestlers were injured.
TNA Wrestling provided a medical update for several wrestlers that sustained injuries at Rebellion.
Eric Young took a Flux Capacitor to a table at the end of his match with Frankie Kazarian. Young’s head was seen to have hit the edge of the top table. He began bleeding heavily. According to TNA’s medical update, it was necessary to have a plastic surgery to reattach his ear.
“Eric Young sustained a severe laceration in his ear. He saw a local surgeon who helped him to attach the severed ears. Gia Miller said that he is no longer medically cleared for wrestling.
Brian Myers sustained a shoulder injury in the tag match. Myers and Eddie Edwards retained the titles against Mike Bailey & Trent Seven.
“Brian Myers sustained an undetermined injury to his shoulder. Miller said that Brian Myers will undergo an MRI in order to determine the exact nature of his injury.
Both Alex Hammerstone and Josh Alexander were injured during their Last Man Standing pay-per-view match. They are still cleared medically to wrestle.
“Josh Alexander sustained a severe ear laceration as well as contusions in his ear and eardrum. Josh Alexander has been cleared by his doctor to wrestle.”
“Hammerstone has passed all concussion protocols tests.” “Hammerstone is medically cleared for wrestling.”
On Sunday, TNA’s television tapings featured both Alexander and Hammerstone.
