Royal Rumble 2024, according to an economic impact study, brought $47 Million to the St. Petersburg area, Florida.
Royal Rumble was held at Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg. The Visit St. Pete/Clearwater Tourism Board presented the results of a study on the economic impact of the event this week. The study found that Royal Rumble had a total economic impact of $47,047.401, with $28,337.038 coming from direct spending. Tax dollars worth $2,923,664 millions were generated.

The Sun Runner bus saw a 95 percent rise in ridership the day of the Royal Rumble.
Ferg’s Sports Bar had a seven-fold increase in business on the day.
Green Bench Brewing Company saw a 10-15% increase in sales compared to a typical Saturday.
Imagine Museum saw a 25 percent rise in attendance on the day following the Royal Rumble.
Visit St. Pete/Clearwater awarded WWE $500,000 for its Royal Rumble bid. The tourism board partnered with the Tampa Bay Rays and the Tampa Sports Commission in order to bring the Royal Rumble event to Tropicana field.
Royal Rumble 2023 was estimated to have an economic impact of $69 million in San Antonio.
