The biopic of the Von Erich family will be available for streaming on May 10.
The critically acclaimed A24 biopic “The Iron Claw” about the Von Erich Family will be available to stream next month.
Max will begin streaming the movie on Friday, 10 May. This is five months after the release of “The Iron Claw”, which was in theaters back in December 2023.
The Iron Claw, starring Zac Efron in the role of Kevin Von Erich tells the story about the Von Erich tragedy and how Kevin survived following the deaths of his two brothers. The film also featured Jeremy Allen White as Kerry Von Erich, Harris Dickinson as David Von Erich, Holt McCallany as Fritz Von Erich, Maura Tierney as Doris Von Erich and Stanley Simons playing Mike Von Erich.
Sean Durkin directed “The Iron Claw.” AEW’s MJF had a small part in the film, and is an executive producer.
A24 Films announced a multi-year agreement with HBO in December last year to make Max the streaming platform for A24’s films.
Rotten Tomatoes gives The Iron Claw an 89 percent rating of positive reviews. It was not nominated at any Academy Awards.
