Chad Gable, after turning heel in WWE, could be forming an entirely new faction.
Gable’s heel-turn occurred in the main event of Monday’s WWE Raw episode. He snapped when he lost to Sami Zayn in the Intercontinental Title match.
Gable attacked Zayn after their match as he celebrated with his wife. Raw was taken off air by officials after Gable had Zayn in an ankle-lock.
Gable is the Alpha Academy leader, and currently, it includes Otis Tozawa, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa.
Tozawa tweeted: “I trust You.” After Gable’s heel-turn. Because you’re my coach.”
Zayn has won the Intercontinental championship at WrestleMania forty, ending Gunther’s historic reign. He won the WrestleMania shot in a gauntlet last month. Zayn’s last gauntlet opponent was Gable.
Gable was a part of the storyline that Zayn had to face Gunther in WrestleMania. Gable faced Gunther several times last year, and came close to winning the IC title.
The Creed Brothers participated in a triple-threat number one contenders tag match this week on Raw. Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa won the match, and will now challenge The Miz & R Truth for the World Tag Team Titles on Raw next Monday.
