Several sources claim that Vince McMahon “moved forward” after his resignation from TKO back in January.
NBC News reports McMahon kept busy in the last few months by traveling to see friends, including the former US President Donald Trump. McMahon is said to be in regular contact with Trump, but they do not discuss legal issues.
McMahon has also been in contact with John Cena and The Rock, as well as Trump, since resigning TKO.
People close to McMahon claim that he has cooperated with authorities in the federal criminal investigation of allegations of sex-trafficking. McMahon is confident that he won’t be charged criminally in this matter and a settlement can be reached with Janel Grant. A spokesperson for Grant’s lawyer says that there have not been any settlement talks.
McMahon has not been in contact with WWE management or TKO since his resignation. Sources claim McMahon had no contact whatsoever with his son-in law Paul “Triple H Levesque” or daughter Stephanie McMahon in regards to company matters. Levesque and Stephanie McMahon refused to comment on this story.
McMahon, according to multiple sources, has continued his normal routines and seems unfazed by any legal issues he may face.
One source said, “He’s living his life to the fullest.”
McMahon reportedly took a trip to Turks and Caicos Islands in late March. According to a close friend of McMahon’s, he brought a puppy and 7 kittens back to give friends.
McMahon also travels from Connecticut to Manhattan where he gets haircuts bi-weekly, works out with his personal trainer and dines at the Italian restaurant Il Tinello East, located on 46th Street.
Michael A. Monteforte posted on social media earlier this month that McMahon would not be able to attend WrestleMania in this year. He wrote, “Vince McMahon wasn’t able to attend his first Wrestlemania.” How quickly people forget that without his vision there would be no Wrestling and Wrestlemania. When a person is down the people who claim to love them turn their backs.
Jessica Rosenburg, McMahon’s lawyer was contacted for comment. She issued a brief statement denying Grant’s allegations.
She wrote: “The lawsuit’s allegations are false, defamatory and completely without merit.” “We intend vigorously to defend Mr. McMahon, and are confident that his case will be vindicated.”
Ann Callis, the lawyer who represents Janel Grant, has responded with this statement:
“Vince McMahon sexually abused, trafficked, and physically assaulted Janel grant as part of his decades long normalization of women being treated as objects within the WWE. Callis said that he might have thought Janel would walk away. But that wishful thinking could not be further from reality. “We are working every day to add to our mountain evidence, speak with other victims, hire renowned experts in sex trafficking/coercive controls, and prepare to litigate this case vociferously.”
McMahon may soon be completely cut off from TKO Group Holdings and WWE. On Friday, his remaining 8,021,405 company shares were made available for sale.
