Rossy Ogawa announces the launch of Marigold Promotion in todays Wrestling news
The first show featuring Giulia will take place in the month of May.
Rossy Ogawa revealed his new promotion.
Ogawa announced Dream Star Fighting Marigold (or Marigold) at a press conference on Monday morning. The first show, Marigold Fields Forever will be held on 20 May at Korakuen Hall. The show will be streamed on WrestleUniverse with both Japanese & English commentary. The main event will see Giulia & X take on Sareee & X.
The first seven members of the roster were revealed at the start of the press event: Giulia (formerly Stardom), Utami Hayashishita (now known as Victoria Yuzuki), Nanae Takahashi (now Mai Sakurai), Yuzuki, formerly Stardom and Nao Ishikawa. Natsumi Sumikawa announced that Miku Aono and Misa Matsui would also be joining the roster at the end of press conference.
Ogawa was terminated from Stardom after the promotion accused of him trying to poach talent as he left. Ogawa denied these accusations, but did confirm that he would be forming a new promotion. Giulia will assist Ogawa in the promotion, before he departs for WWE. She appeared at NXT’s Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania Weekend.
