Erick Rowan cancels independent date due to “new contractual obligations” in todays Wrestling news
ECPW has confirmed that Rowan will not be attending the Coal Town Carnage this weekend.

East Coast Pro Wrestling, based in Nova Scotia, announced on Saturday that Rowan would miss the Coal Town Carnage next weekend. They also stated that Rowan had canceled other upcoming bookings, in addition to theirs.
ECPW wrote the following:
We just heard this evening that Erick Rowan will be unable to make his scheduled Coal Town Carnage appearance next week.
Erick said that new contractual obligations prevent him from attending several dates, including ours.
It is the first time that we have ever had a scheduled star cancel and it was out of our hands.
The show will still feature former WWE Superstar Brian Kendrick and the debut of Vanessa Kraven, as well as all the superstars of East Coast Pro Wrestling.
The New Waterford & District community center will host three title matches, a New Waterford Rumble, and more on Saturday.

Rowan’s ‘new contractual obligations’ have fueled speculation that he may be returning to WWE. WWE released a documentary earlier this month on Rowan’s longtime teammate Bray Wyatt. Former Wyatt Family Member Braun Strowman will be returning from injury shortly, and Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas has been teased to make a comeback.
