Stephanie McMahon praises Paul Heyman, “You’re such a icon” in todays Wrestling news
WWE shared a backstage interaction that took place before Friday’s Hall of Fame ceremony.
Stephanie McMahon sent Paul Heyman some kind words before his induction into WWE Hall of Fame.
Heyman was inducted in the Hall of Fame on Friday, as part of WWE WrestleMania Week festivities in Philadelphia. WWE has uploaded a behind the scenes vlog of Heyman’s induction. It featured a backstage conversation between Heyman, Stephanie and the WWE officials before the ceremony.
She told Heyman that:
I was talking with Paul [Levesque] when I said: “Can you imagine that this kid used break into Madison Square Garden to take photos and to try and sell them?” He loved the business. You told me about all the stories you had of driving in the wrong direction down one-way roads. You know, that’s what happened.
It’s amazing, Paul. You’re an icon for what you created and what you achieved on your own. And then, what you have done, who you are and your legacy. It’s amazing that we can all pay tribute to you.
Stephanie made her first on-camera debut since she resigned from the company in 2023. She appeared at the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. She was in the audience for Heyman’s address wearing an ECW cap.
Stephanie opened the second night of WrestleMania and called it the “Paul Levesque Era.”
Stephanie is not officially back with WWE despite her appearances during WrestleMania Week.
