WWE’s Seth Rollins takes time off to rest his knee injury in todays Wrestling news
Rollins is expected to be out of action for only four weeks.
Seth Rollins is taking a break.
Rollins wrestled at WrestleMania Night One, dropped the World Heavyweight Title to Drew McIntyre on night two, then helped Cody Rhodes defeat The Bloodline Sunday in the main event. Rollins, however, missed last night’s Raw following WrestleMania. He is expected to be out of the company for a month.
Dave Meltzer, our own Daily Update writer, wrote on Monday: “Seth Rollins is taking a break after yesterday.” “The hope today was that this would only be about four weeks away.”
Meltzer added later on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rollins should rest his knee injury he sustained in January.
Meltzer said that Seth was taking time off due to an injury. “I have heard that it is not that long, but it is the knee problem. He’s just got a rest the knee for a while.”
Rollins sustained a Grade 2 tear in his MCL as well as a meniscus tear in January, but was able return in time for WrestleMania. He told Sports Illustrated that he was “full strength’ heading into this year’s event.
