Bronson Reed wins the 2024 WWE Andre the Giant Battle Royal in todays Wrestling news
This was the 10th anniversary of the memorial Battle Royal.
Bronson Reed has won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal in 2024.
The 10th edition memorial battle royal was held on Friday’s SmackDown. Reed and Ivar, two rival big men, were the last two wrestlers standing at the end. Ivar tried to do a moonsault but Reed managed to get in the way. Reed then hit Ivar with a rolling senton, and threw him out of the ring.
Reed, Ivar Akira Tozawa and Otis were the final six players in the battle royal. JD McDonagh and Ricochet.
Reed joins Cesaro and Big Show on the list of wrestlers to have won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. Also included are Mojo Rawley (Baron Corbin), Matt Hardy (Braun Strowman), Jey Uso (Jey Uso), Riddickmoss, Bobby Lashley, and Mojo Rawley.
The battle royal is held every year except for 2020. It was originally a WrestleMania event, but this hasn’t happened in recent years. Since 2021, it’s been held during the pre-WrestleMania episode of SmackDown.
Reed had advocated on social media that a “Meaty Invitational”, which would be part of WrestleMania’s card, should be included. It didn’t happen, but Reed and Ivar were chanted “Meat” during Friday’s battle-royal.
