Jonathan Gresham signs a new contract with TNA Wrestling in todays Wrestling news
The former ROH World Champion still seeks TNA gold.
The company announced today that Jonathan Gresham re-upped his contract with TNA Wrestling.
Normally, there are no specifics regarding contract length.
Gresham has just signed a one-year contract that was announced in 2022. He will compete at Hard to Kill in January 2023.
His last in-ring TNA match was a TV bout in October 2023 with the then-TNA World champion Alex Shelley. He has remained active in the U.S. independent scene, with promotions such as GCW and stops in AJPW in addition to several UK promotions.
TNA announced that he would be part of Rebellion Weekend in Las Vegas, which includes a pay-per view and a television taping the following day.
Gresham, who played off the frustrated character that he adopted at the end of 2023 in the first vignette from a series of vignettes, returned to TNA TV with the first of a new series on Thursday. He’s in an almost group counseling meeting, and says that if he wants people to listen to him he must wear a mask. The clip cuts to another person saying, “If honesty is what you want, you must live a lie.” We’re done with lying, Jon.
The former Ring of Honor World Tag Team and Pure Champion is yet to hold any titles in TNA, which is also the home of his wife and current Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.
