The Rock has confirmed that he will not be leaving WWE after WrestleMania.
Rock and Brian Gewirtz recently spoke with ESPN about what he will do next after the events of this weekend in Philadelphia. According to The Rock he will remain a part of the company.
Rock told Gewirtz in the interview, “I’m still on the board after WrestleMania.” “I am still on the board and I will be a part for life.” We are there now. “This is our thing, and it will always be our thing.”
Gewirtz clarified, however, that this does not necessarily mean Rock will remain a regular fixture on WWE programming following Mania.
“But I think there’s going to be a Rock in WWE moving forward until whenever he wants to …,” Gewirtz stated. “I could say that this isn’t [over] a day after WrestleMania, and I’m going to go off into the sun now.”

He added, “It’s as if he has never been bigger.” “He’s a member of the board. He carries a different weight than when he returned earlier, when he was at his best. But not now. WWE sent rings to Rock’s homes in Los Angeles, Hawaii and other locations to help him prepare for Saturday’s return to the ring. In Los Angeles, Rock has been training with NXT’s Gallus and Wolfgang, as well as the Coffey Brothers. Michael Hayes Bobby Roode and Chad Patton supervise Rock’s training sessions, where he runs through in-ring scenes and works on timing.
In Hawaii, Rock trains by himself, running through speed, agility, and timing drills. He told ESPN that returning to the ring was like “riding on a bicycle.”
“Suplexes. A launch off the toprope. A catch. Like bodies hitting bodies,” Rock said. “It’s stuff like that that you need to do and prepare for. You’re getting bruised, you’re hitting ropes. It returns fairly quickly. … It’s just like riding a bicycle.”
Rock continued, “I am very fortunate in that I have become a ring-general where I can see the circumference and where I should be at any given time.” “Because in our wrestling business, timing is very important. The diet is always the worst part of the whole process. I’m taking the falls every day and getting my ars kicked. “We’ll see what happens.”
