Rousey is sceptical that she will be returning to the WWE.

If Ronda would return to WWE, the company’s culture and operations would have to be drastically altered.

Rousey called WWE “absolute s*tshow” recently and said that she had no plans to return to the promotion. She gave a similar response while appearing on Good Morning America Monday. When asked if Rousey would ever consider returning to WWE, Rousey replied:

I doubt it unless there is a major change in the way things are run.

Rousey’s last WWE match was at SummerSlam 2023. She wrestled in two independent matches and one for ROH in the latter part of that year. She teamed up with her friend Marina Shafir.

During her Good Morning America interview, Rousey answered the question of what made her leave WWE. Rousey stated that it was not a lifestyle that she could continue as a mother.

It’s not a life I can continue as a mother. I was on the move for 18 months with my child and it was not something we could sustain.

Rousey spent two stints in WWE. The first stint lasted from 2018 to 2019. The second lasted from 2022 to 2023. Rousey and her husband Travis Browne welcomed their daughter La’akea Makalapuaokalanipo Browne into the world in 2021.

Rousey’s new book “Our Fight” will be released today (April 2). The UFC Hall of Famer released a book in 2015 called “My Fight/Your Fight.”
