AEW releases Parker Boudreaux, Stu Grayson and more in todays Wrestling news
AEW cut a number of positions on Monday.
AEW has reduced its roster by several people.
Sean Ross Sapp, of Fightful, reported on Monday that Gravity, Slim J and Parker Boudreaux were removed from the roster. PWInsider also reported that The Boys, (Brandon Tate and Brent Tate), and Anthony Henry had been released.
According to PWInsider, AEW “is evaluating their talent roster and cutting back to benefit both the company as well as the talents.” It is believed that those released will become free agents immediately.
The majority of the in-ring talent has not been seen on TV recently. Grayson wrestled last for AEW back in August, while Boudreaux made recent appearances in AAA. He has not been seen in AEW from March 2023. Jose the Assistant has not been seen in AEW since Rush sustained a hamstring injuries late last year.
Henry was working with JD Drake as a tag team on AEW TV until last month, when he suffered a broken jaw at an independent event.
