Rapper Lil Wayne to be at WWE WrestleMania 40 in todays Wrestling news
Wayne appeared on Monday’s Raw in a segment that took place behind the scenes.
WWE WrestleMania 40 will feature one of the most popular rappers of all time.
During Raw’s WrestleMania40 go-home show it was revealed Lil Wayne would be attending this weekend’s event at Philadelphia. WrestleMania will be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7.
Wayne also appeared in a segment on the backstage of Monday’s Raw, in Brooklyn. He was joined by Jey Uso. Wayne confirmed he will be at WrestleMania, and revealed that he has a brand new song that will make its world premiere there.
Wayne, 41, is a five-time Grammy Award-winner. Four of these wins were in 2009. His acclaimed album “Tha Cart III” won Best Rap Album.
Rapper Meek mill, from Philadelphia, will also be involved in WrestleMania. Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares”, a song that has become a Philly Anthem, is also involved with WrestleMania.
Mill voices the opening video of WrestleMania forty.
The full card for WrestleMania has now been announced. Each night starts at 7 p.m. Eastern. Both nights, pre-shows will be broadcast from 5-7 pm Eastern time.
