Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley discussed their upcoming WrestleMania bout on Monday’s episode The MMA Hour.
Ariel Helwani interviewed Ripley, who said that she wanted to face The Man, not the Lynch we know today, a mother, a wife, and an author.
“I don’t like mom Becky Lynch.” I don’t want Becky, the wife, or the mother. Ripley said, “I want The Man” on the show.
Lynch confronted Ripley shortly after she made the remarks, resulting in a fight between the two.
“I didn’t know that would happen, I apologize.” Helwani tells Ripley, “You may not want to return here again, but thank you for not damaging our set.”
Ripley revealed in the interview that her wrist has been injured recently. Lynch shouted during the altercation that she was “coming” for Ripley’s right arm.
“Thanks for making me a target Mami.” I’m coming after your arm and #WomensWorldTitle in WrestleMANia,” Lynch posted on X.
